Our Local Buy Commitment
As the vision of fourth generation farmers, addressing rural youth unemployment and mental health issues sit at the core of BVP’s values.
The project will create about 200 full time positions in the Brisbane Valley – with a focus on local and youth employment – and support several hundred indirect jobs in the region through its extensive supply chain requirements. BVP is committed to local buy policies for staffing and procurement in support of Somerset Regional Council’s Economic Development Plan 2015-2020.
Additionally, BVP proposes scholarship and training programs to directly invest back into the local region (and across the state) to help to equip young Queenslanders for a brighter future.
